VOLUME 2 – 347 – LENGTH OF THE RESURRECTION

From Abdullah bin Hubshi al-Hakami (may Allah be pleased with him), it is narrated:
It was asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which deeds are best.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Those performed with the longest standing.” It was then asked, "Which charity is best?"
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “That of one who gives according to his ability, though little.” It was asked, "Which migration is best?"
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The migration of one who flees from that which Allah has forbidden.” It was asked, "Which striving (jihad) is most excellent?"
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The striving of one who fights with his property and person against the polytheists.” It was asked, "Which death is best?"
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The death of one whose horse is killed beneath him, and his blood is spilled, is among the most excellent deaths."
