JIHAD SECTION · 153 – Can a share of spoils of war be given to a Mushrik?
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: Yahya bin Maim reported that a polytheist joined the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in fighting, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him to return. The wording thereafter is agreed upon by Musaddad and Yahya bin Ma’in. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “We do not seek help from a polytheist.”
