Volume 3 – 86 – Farewell Pilgrimage

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) related:
I put on the garments of ihram intending ‘umra from Ten’im. I entered the sacred precinct and completed my ‘umra. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) waited for me at Ebdah until my ‘umra was finished, then he ordered the people to proceed. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) came to the Ka‘ba, performed tawaf (circumambulation) for departure, and then set out.

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated:
I went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (referring to his departure – on the fourth day of Eid in Mina). He stopped at Muhassab (a place where people rest for a while).
Abu Dawud says:
Ibn Bishr did not mention that Aisha was sent to Tan’im in his narration of this hadith.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the early morning. He allowed his companions to set out. He himself walked, and he arrived at the Ka'bah before Fajr prayer, performed a circumambulation as he was about to depart, then set off towards Medina.
COMMENTARY:
Muhassab and Ebtah: These are two places located between Mecca and Mina, whose roads intersect with each other. The road of Muhassab leads to Ebtah.

On the authority of Abdurrahman bin Tarik, from his mother (may Allah be pleased with her), he narrated:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) passed by a place near the homes of Yalā – the narrator, Ubaydullah, has forgotten the name of that place – and turned towards the Ka’bah, supplicating.
