JIHAD SECTION · 74 – Cutting skin between two fingers is prohibited.
Samura ibn Jundub, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
The Prophet ﷺ forbade cutting [a piece of] leather between two fingers.
EXPLANATION
Cutting leather or string between two fingers is dangerous. There is a risk that the blade will slip and injure [the person] between the two fingers.
