SECTION 30 of the Book on Abrogating Matters – Disciplining a Servant of One in Ihram
It is narrated from Asma bint Abi Bakr, may Allah be pleased with her:
We set out on the Hajj journey with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. When we reached Arc, he dismounted through the agency of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and we dismounted as well. Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, sat beside the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I sat beside my father, Abi Bakr. The riding beast of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and my father Abi Bakr was one. He was near the slave belonging to my father.
Abi Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, sat down. He was waiting for the arrival of the slave; the slave appeared but without a camel. Abi Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, asked, “Where is the camel?”
The slave said, "I lost it last night."
Abi Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "A camel, and you lost that too?" And he began to strike him.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was smiling and saying, “Look at what this pilgrim is doing.”
Ibn Abi Rizmah says:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, smiled and said, "Look at what this pilgrim is doing," and did not display more than that.

**EXPLANATION:**
This honorable hadith indicates that a pilgrim can discipline his child and servant.
From Safwan ibn Ya'la ibn Umayya, from his father, who reported:
While the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was at Cirana, a man came wearing a cloak that smelled of haluk or had traces of saffron. The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, how do you instruct me to act during my 'umrah?" The Most Glorious (Allah) revealed to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. When the revelation ceased, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, asked, “Where is the one who inquired about ‘umrah?” And addressing that man, he said, "Wash away the trace of the haluk scent or the trace of saffron on you, remove your cloak, and perform in your 'umrah what you do in your Hajj."
EXPLANATION:
Cirana: A place between Mecca and Taif, closer to Mecca.
Haluk: The name of a fragrance made from saffron.
Safra: A yellow-colored fragrance made from saffron. Because its use is specific to women, it was ordered to be washed away, and it is not considered proper for a pilgrim to wear a cloak.
Ya'la ibn Umayya (mentioned in the previous narration) related, and said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered him, “Remove your cloak.” And he removed his cloak from his head, whereupon Ya'la narrated the complete account.
Ibn Ya'la transmitted a report stating that (Ya'la also) said: The Messenger of God ordered the man to remove his cloak completely and wash it twice or three times.
According to a report from Ibn Ya'la bin Umayya, from his father:
A man came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Cirana, having dyed his beard and head yellow, wearing a cloak, and having entered into ihram for umrah… then the narrator related the rest of the hadith.
