SECTION OF NIKAH · 12 – GIVING A GIFT TO THE WET NURSE WHEN THE CHILD IS WEANED
2064 – It is narrated from Ḥajjāj ibn Ḥajjāj (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah, what can remove (fulfill) the blame (right) of suckling from me? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “A gurra (i.e., a slave or a slave-girl [to be freed]) will remove it.” [93]
