JIHAD SECTION · 82 – HOW ONE MAKES DUAA (SUPPLICATION) WHEN RESIDING IN A PLACE
Abdullah ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would say when setting out on a journey and it was nightfall: “O Earth, I seek refuge in my Lord, the Lord of you and me, from your evil, from those within you, from what you contain, from those who walk upon you. I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of lions and great serpents, snakes and scorpions, creatures that dwell in this place, pregnant women and their offspring.”
