FASTING CHAPTER · 47 – The Situation of Someone Who Says They Fasted the Entire Month of Ramadan
Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Let not one of you say, ‘I fasted the entire month of Ramadan, and I prayed all its nights.’”
The narrator said: "I do not know whether the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said this because he disliked a person purifying himself (from sin) or because sleep and rest are unavoidable.”
