-3. VOLUME – · 72 – The Evidence of Those Who Say That the Messenger of Allah, Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him, Delivered a Sermon on the First Day of Eid in Mina.
Hirmas bin Ziyad al-Bahili, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivering a sermon on his she-camel Adba on the Day of Sacrifice in Mina.
[Explanation: Adba means a one-eared camel. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ’s she-camel had its ear cut by a sword, so it was given this name.]
According to the narration of Süleym bin Amir al-Kalai, may Allah be pleased with him:
He said that he heard it reported that:
“I listened to the sermon of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Day of Sacrifice in Mina.”
