RITES OF HAJJ SECTION · 52 – SUPPLICATION DURING TAWAF

1892 – It is narrated from ʿAbdullāh ibn Sāʾib (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) say between the two Corners (the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone): “Rabbanā ātinā fi’d-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fi’l-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa qinā ʿadhāba’n-nār” (Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire)."

1893 – It is narrated from Ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with him): When the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the Kaʿba for ḥajj or ʿumra and performed the first tawaf, he would hasten in three circuits of the tawaf and walk in four, and after the tawaf he would perform two rakʿas of prayer. EXPLANATION
