Urve ibn al-Bariki, may Allah be pleased with him, related:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave him a dinar to purchase sacrificial animals or sheep. Urve purchased two sheep for one dinar. He sold one of the sheep for one dinar. He brought the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, one sheep and one dinar. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, then invoked a blessing upon his commerce. Due to that blessing, were Urve to purchase land, he would profit from it.

Hakim ibn Hizām, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Hakim to the market with one dinar to purchase a sacrificial animal. He bought a sacrificial animal for one dinar and sold it for two dinars, then returned. He informed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he had purchased a sacrificial animal for one dinar and brought him one dinar. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave away the dinar in charity and invoked blessings upon Hakim ibn Hizām for his trade to be prosperous. [210]
