Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, permitted the sale of dates between five wasaqs or less than five wasaqs, with dried and fresh dates. The narrator, Dawud ibn Husayn, doubted whether it was five wasaqs or less than five wasaqs. [197]
Abu Dawood: The hadith of Jabir states that it is equivalent to four wasaqs.
