SECTION ON JIHAD · 149 – ONE-FIFTH IS NOT TAKEN FROM THE SPOILS STRIPPED FROM THE SLAIN DISBELIEVER
2721 – It was narrated from Khālid ibn al-Walīd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled that the belongings taken from a slain enemy belong to the one who killed him. And he did not take one-fifth from the belongings found on the slain. [487]
