Chapter 4 – The Ruler Appoints a Vizier for Himself
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) said: “Whenever Allah intends good for an official, He gives him a sincere advisor. If he forgets, the advisor reminds him, and if he remembers, the advisor supports him. Whenever Allah intends evil for an official, He gives him a corrupt advisor. If he forgets, the advisor does not remind him, and if he is reminded, the advisor does not support him.”
