The Fasting Section · 70 – Those Who Say That the Prophet, Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him, Did Not Devote the Same Day to a Three-Day Fast.
According to a narration from Mu’adh:
I asked Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, “Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, fast three days each month?” She replied, “Yes.”
I asked, “On which days did he fast?” Her reply was, “He did not pay attention to on which days he fasted.”
