According to the report of Amir ibn ‘Amir, may Allah be pleased with him, he said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say during the Farewell Pilgrimage: “Take heed! All interest-bearing debts from the pre-Islamic era are abolished. Your capital is yours; neither have you wronged nor been wronged. Take heed! The blood feuds from the pre-Islamic era are also abolished. The first of these to be ended is the blood feud of Haris ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib, (the son of his uncle) Rabia’. Rabia was with the Banu Layy in a suckling mother when Huzayf killed him.”
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said three times: “O God, have I conveyed [this message]?” The companions replied three times: "Yes."
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said three times: “Witness, O Lord.”
