Urve bin Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
Hisham bin Hakim found some Coptic people stripped and lying in the sun, being punished by a man whom Hisham had appointed to collect the jizya. Hisham asked him, "What are you doing?" He said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) say: ‘The Mighty and Sublime Allah punishes those who punish people in this world with punishment in the Hereafter.’” [21]
