JIHAD SECTION · 85 – The Virtue of Departing Early for Expeditions
Sahr al-Gamidi, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would say: “O Lord, bless my community with the early hours of the morning.” Whenever he sent out a detachment or an army, he would send them forth in the early morning.
Sahr was a merchant who would dispatch his trading caravan in the early morning. His wealth increased, and he became wealthy.
