JIHAD SECTION · 77 – WEAK HORSES OR REQUESTING HELP FROM GOD ON BEHALF OF THOSE WHO RIDE THEM
Ebid-Derda, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: “Ask [for assistance] through those who are weak, for indeed you are given provision and help because of your weak ones.” [410]
Abu Dawud said: Zeyd bin Ertaa is the brother of Adī bin Ertaa.
EXPLANATION
Bukhari also transmitted a similar narration in the hadith of Said bin Abi Waqqas.
In Nasa’i's narration, it is stated: “Indeed Allah, may He be exalted, helps this community with the supplication, prayer, and sincerity of those among them who are weak.”
