THE CORPSES CHAPTER · 22 – TO PRAY UPON HEARING OF DEATH
Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) said: "When affliction of death comes to one of you, let him say: ‘We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.’ O Allah, I hope for reward from You in this affliction, grant me compensation for it, and replace it with something better.’” [51]
