From Abdurrahman bin Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Is there among you anyone who will feed the poor today?”

Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “I saw a beggar supplicating when I entered the mosque. I found a piece of bread in the hand of (my son) Abdurrahman. I took it from his hand and gave it to that beggar.”

**EXPLANATION:**

This honorable hadith serves as evidence that giving charity to those who ask within mosques is permissible. According to the Hanafi school of jurisprudence, assisting beggars inside mosques is disliked.
