FASTING CHAPTER · 67 – FASTING ONE DAY AND NOT FASTING THE NEXT
Abdullah ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Allah the Exalted loves the fasts of David. And He loves the prayers of David. He would sleep a third of the night, pray a third of it, sleep a sixth of it, and would fast one day and not fast another.”
