Season 6, Episode 6 – Hiring a Scribe

According to a narration from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), he said:
Sicill was the scribe of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him).
EXPLANATION
In Isabah and Avn al-Ma'bud, it is mentioned that Sicill is the name of the scribe of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him).
Ibn Jawzi declares this hadith fabricated, stating that there was no one named Sicill among the scribes of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him), based on information from his teacher.
Ibn Mirdawayh says that Sicill means "man" in the Habesha language.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) has interpreted the word “sicil” mentioned in Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 140 – “And [remember] the Day when We will roll up the heavens like a scroll,” – as meaning "man."
