JIHAD SECTION · 101 – DECEPTION IN WAR
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) said: "War is deceit."
Abdurrahman bin Ka’b, from his father, related that:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he intended to embark on a campaign, would feign as if he were going on another campaign, and would say: “War is deception.”
