JIHAD SECTION · 102 – NIGHT RAID
Iyas ibn Salama narrated from his father who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed Abu Bakr as commander in a battle. We began fighting a group of polytheists. We launched a night raid upon them, killing them. That night our password was “Emit, Emit” (kill).
Salama said: I killed seven households of the polytheists with my own hand that night.
