Volume 3 – 92 – Residing in Mecca
It is narrated on the authority of Abdurrahman bin Humeyd, may Allah be pleased with him, that he heard Umar bin Abdulaziz ask about something concerning Saib bin Yazid regarding his residence in Mecca. Saib replied: I was informed by Ibn al-Hadrami, who heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: “The emigrants have a right to stay in Mecca for three days after their farewell pilgrimage.”
