Swearing not to visit relatives (maintaining family ties).
Sa'id ibn Musayyib, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
There was inheritance between two brothers of the Ansar. One of them asked his brother for a share of the inheritance. The other said, "If you ask me again for a share, I will spend all of my property on the covering of the Ka'bah." 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said to him, “The Ka’bah does not need your property. Pay atonement for your oath and speak with your brother. I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: ‘There is no expiation or vow (keffarah) for disobedience to your Lord, severing ties of kinship, and claiming ownership of what is not yours.’”
Amr bin Shu'ayb has reported from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no vow but for the sake of Allah’s pleasure, and there is no oath to severing ties of kinship."
From Amr bin Shu'ayb, from his grandfather, has been narrated: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “There is no disobedience to Allah and severing of ties of kinship with an oath or vow in a matter where a person has no power. And if one swears an oath and then finds something better than it, let him abandon it and do what is better; abandoning it is his expiation.”
Abu Dawud said: “Almost all authentic hadiths from the Messenger of Allah contain the phrase ‘let him seek expiation for his oath.’”
