Volume 4 – 23 – Regarding Nadir's News

From Abdurrahman bin Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) it has been related:
That a man from the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote a letter to the polytheists of Quraysh, along with Ibn Ubayy and those of the Banu Awus and Banu Khazraj who were idolaters. This was during a time when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in Medina before the battle of Badr. The letter stated:
“You sheltered and protected our man. By Allah, either you kill him or expel him from your land, otherwise we will march against you all, those who are capable of fighting, and will slay you, take your women captive.” When this letter reached Abdullah ibn Ubayy and the idolaters, they gathered to fight the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). This news reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said to them: “The threat of Quraysh has affected you. The evil they intend for you is no greater than the evil you intend for yourselves. You wish to kill your own children and brothers.”
When they heard these words from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), they dispersed. This news reached Quraysh, and after the battle of Badr, they wrote a letter to the Jews (containing) the following: “You possess fortresses and armor. Either you fight with our man or we will do this to you. Nothing shall come between us and your women’s ankle bracelets.” When this letter reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), the Banu Nadir also decided to plot against him.
They sent a message to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying, “Send thirty men from your companions with us, and you come and speak so that our scholars may listen to you. If they confirm you and believe in you, then we will also believe.” The narrator recounted this event in all its details. When the next morning arrived, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) besieged them and said: “I swear by Allah, I cannot guarantee your safety unless you make an agreement with me and give me your word.”
They refused to enter into an agreement with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and give him their word. The next morning, he marched out with his army against the Banu Qurayza. He left the Banu Nadir and called the Banu Qurayza to an agreement. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turned away from them with his army and marched against the Banu Nadir, fighting them until they agreed to leave their land. The Banu Nadir took as much as their camels could carry of their furnishings, doors, and trees. The date palms of the Banu Nadir became the Messenger of Allah’s (peace and blessings be upon him) private property; Allah had given it to him and designated it for him. In this regard, Allah Most High said: “What Allah gave to His Messenger as spoils from them, you did not ride any steeds or camels with him.” Meaning, they were taken without fighting.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed most of the land of the Banu Nadir among the Muhajirun, dividing it amongst them. He also gave to two needy men from the Ansar. He did not give anything to anyone else from the Ansar. The charity that belonged to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which was in the hands of Fatima’s (may Allah be pleased with her) sons, remained.
EXPLANATION:
*Hadem:* They call the ankle bracelet a “hadem.”

Here is a faithful translation of the provided Arabic text, presented as requested:
Narrated Ibn Umar (RA):
The Banu Nadir and Qurayza Jews declared war against Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) expelled the Banu Nadir from Medina and left the Qurayza in their place, granting them safe conduct. But then the Qurayza also declared war against Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ), so Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) killed their men, and distributed their women and possessions among the Muslims. However, some of them had sought refuge with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). He granted them safety, and they embraced Islam. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) expelled all the Jews of Medina, including the Banu Kaynuka, the tribe of Abdullah bin Salam, and all other Jews residing in Medina. [9]
