THE FASTING CHAPTER · 75 – WHAT SHOULD A PERSON WHO IS FASTING DO WHEN INVITED TO A WEDDING FEAST?
Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When any of you is invited to a wedding feast, he should accept it if he is not fasting; and if he is fasting, then he should supplicate [to Allah]."
Hisham said: By *salat* is meant supplication.
