SECTION ON ZAKAT · 15 – When is the quantity of dates on a tree estimated?
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: Mentioning the situation of Khaybar, he (the Prophet ﷺ) would say, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to send 'Abdullah ibn Rawha to the Jews." He would estimate the dates (as being ripe for consumption) before anyone had eaten from them.
