3932 – It is narrated from Safīna (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I was the slave of Umm Salama. Umm Salama said to me: "I will set you free on the condition that you serve the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) as long as I am alive." I replied: "Even if you did not stipulate this condition, I would not leave the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) as long as I live." Thereupon, she set me free and stipulated service upon me. [522]
