CHAPTER · 48 – FLIES IN THE FOOD
Abū Hurayrah (radiyallāhu ʻanhu) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ʻalayhi wa sallam) said: If a black fly falls into one of your vessels (containing liquid food), let him dip it completely, for in one of its wings is disease and in the other wing is healing. It protects itself with the wing that carries the disease. Therefore, let him dip it completely.” [463]
