4029 – It is narrated from Ibn ʿUmar that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever wears a garment that confers fame, Allah will clothe him with a garment like it on the Day of Resurrection.” In the narration of Abū ʿAwana, the following sentence is added: “Then a fire will blaze upon him.” [579]

4030 – From Abū ʿAwana (may Allah be pleased with him); the previously mentioned hadith was narrated. In this narration, it is stated: “(Allah will clothe him on the Day of Resurrection) with a garment of humiliation.”
