3460 – From Abū Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him): the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever grants iqāla (cancels a sale at the request of the other party) for a Muslim, Allah will accept his regret when his foot slips (when he falls into error).” [257]

EXPLANATION

Iqāla (iqale): It is the annulment of a contract by mutual consent, upon the request of one of the parties to a sale.
