Urve (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) was sitting near the door of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), while she was praying. Abu Huraira said to Aisha, "O mistress of the house, listen to me," twice. Then Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said after finishing her prayer: “Do you not marvel at Abu Huraira and his words?” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) used to speak a word, and if someone wanted to count it, he could.
Urvah ibn Zubayr, may Allah be pleased with him, related:
Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, (said to me) "Does Abu Hurayra not astonish you?" He came to my room and sat down. He was relating a hadith and reciting it to me while I was praying. She rose and left before completing her prayer. Had I been able to reach him, I would have said, “May Allah bless the Prophet; he would not speak in succession as you do.”

Explanation:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, spoke as if pearls were falling from his mouth; he did not jumble words together or rush them. He spoke distinctly, repeating when necessary.
