CHAPTER 15 – EATING TOGETHER
It is narrated from the grandfather of Wahshi bin Harb:
The people asked the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, “O Messenger of Allah, we eat but do not feel full.” The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, said, "Perhaps you are eating separately." They replied, "Yes, that is how we do it." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, then said, "Eat together and begin with the remembrance of Allah; it will be blessed for you." [421]
Abu Dawud said: If you attend a wedding celebration and food is placed before you, do not eat unless the host permits you.
