SECTION · 28 – EATING THE MEAT OF THE BUSTARD



3797 – It is narrated from the grandfather of Burayh ibn ʿAmr ibn Safīna that he said: I ate the meat of the bustard with the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him). [438]
EXPLANATION
Hubara: A wild bird, gray in color, with a long neck, similar to a turkey. In Turkish, it is called the bustard.
