It is narrated from Abdullah ibn Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) would eat cucumbers with fresh dates together.

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) related:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) used to eat melons, watermelons, and fresh dates together. He said, “We break the heat of one with the cold of another, and the cold of one with the heat of another.”

It is narrated on the authority of two sons of Suleymli Busr that they said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon us, and we presented to him curdled milk and dates. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved dates and curdled milk.
