SECTION 11 – Washing Hands When Eating
Abdullah ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, related:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had emerged from the lavatory. Food was presented to him. The companions said, "Should we bring water for ablution?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I have only been commanded to perform ablution when I rise for prayer.” [418]
