Drinks Section · 21 – What prayer is recited when drinking milk?

It is narrated from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said:
I was present at the home of Maymunah. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered, accompanied by Khalid ibn al-Walid. They brought two roasted foxes on two thin spits. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, attempted to spit out, saying “*Tuu!*” Khalid ibn al-Walid, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "Do you find it distasteful, O Messenger of Allah?"
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, replied, "I found it distasteful." Then milk was brought to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he drank it, and said: “Let one of you, when eating, say: ‘O Lord, bless this food for us and grant us something better than it.’ And when drinking milk, let him say: ‘O Lord, bestow blessing upon this milk and increase it for us.’ No food or drink other than milk can serve as both sustenance and water.”
