Aisha's Unfinished Umrah

Aisha was returning from Medina and had become impure for prayer in Sherif. That night she was found at Muhassab: “O Messenger of Allah! People are coming back from Umrah and Hajj, but I am only coming back from Hajj!” [587] Our Prophet (PBUH) asked: “Did you not perform Tawaf on the nights we arrived in Mecca?” Aisha replied, “No!” [588] Our Prophet (PBUH) said: “Then go to Tan’im with your brother and make intention for Umrah! [589] After completing your Tawafs, I will be waiting for you there!” [590] Abdurrahman bin Abu Bakr mounted Aisha on her camel and took her to Tan’im. Aisha made the intention of Umrah there. [591] While she was at Muhassab, he said: “Return and come to me.” [592]
