Cerir b. Abdullah's Return to Medina
Cerir b. Abdullah returned to Medina after a short period of time. Our Prophet (PBUH) asked him about Zülhalasa: “Did you destroy it?” Cerir b. Abdullah said, “I swear by Allah who sent you as a prophet with the true religion and scripture; I burned Zülhalasa in fire! No one could prevent me from burning and destroying it!” Our Prophet (PBUH) that day also made a blessing prayer for the horses and riders of Ahmesîler.[229]
