Clothing the Captives

Our Prophet (Peace be upon him) ordered Büsr b. Süfyanü’l-Huzâf to go to Mecca, buy clothes and dress the prisoners in them, and ensure that female prisoners do not leave without clothing. Büsr stood up and went to Mecca. He bought clothes for all the prisoners and dressed them in it.[483] The clothes they were dressed in were made of Egyptian linen.[484]
