Hassan b. Sabit's Eulogy for the Mujahideen
The poet Hassan b. Sabit, in a poem about Abu Rafi’ and Ka’b b. Ashraf, mentions that the Islamic mujahideen, for the sake of helping our Prophet (peace be upon him), went forth like forest lions with drawn swords, accepting death as a draught.
