The Conquest of Khaybar and Imam Ali
Our Prophet (PBUH), after waiting for a while, asked: “Where is Ali?” They said, “O Messenger of Allah! His eyes are hurting.”[196] Our Prophet (PBUH) ordered: “Bring him to me.”[197] Seleme b. Ekvâ stood up and went, bringing Hz. Ali by the hand to our Prophet (PBUH). [198] The dust of Hayber was hurting Hz. Ali’s eyes. [199] The noble companions did not expect him to come. Suddenly encountering him, they said: “Here is Ali!”[200] Our Prophet (PBUH) declared: “With this, the conquest will be achieved!”[201]
