The Incident of Abu Bakr's Son Abdurrahman and the Prophet's Intervention
Abdurrahman, the son of Hz. Ebu Bekir who was among the polytheists, came out on horseback and challenged anyone to fight him. He was covered in armor from head to toe, so that nothing but his eyes were visible. When Hz. Ebu Bekir attempted to engage him in combat, our Prophet (PBUH) said: “Sheathe your sword and return to your place! We are benefiting from you!”[268]
