The Martyrdom and Ascension of Amir b. Fuheyre
Jabbar b. Sulma said: “I pierced my spear between the two branches at a man who invited me to Islam! I saw the iron of my spear coming out from his chest! I heard him say, ‘By Allah, I have won and gone!’ [1] I said to myself, ‘What did he win?! Haven’t I killed the man?!’ [2] The reason I did not embrace Islam was that I had seen his body being raised to the sky.”[3]
