The Places Where the Men, Women and Children of Banu Qurayza Were Kept

The men of the Banu Qurayza Jews were taken to Usama b. Zeid’s house, and their women and children were taken to Ramla bint Haris’ house.[163] By the order of our Prophet (peace be upon him), dates were distributed to them in loads for their food.[164] Our Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered that even those who would be killed should be treated well and kindly; that milk should be given to them at noon, that water should be given to them, and that the heat of the sun and the heat of the sword should not be combined on them. At noon he gave them milk to drink, water to drink and food to eat.[165]
