The Prophet's Arrival in Medina and the Excuses of Some Tribes
When our Prophet (PBUH) was going to Mecca and invited them to go with him, the tribes of Muzeyna, Juheyna, and Bani Bakr avoided going by making excuses. When they saw that our Prophet (PBUH) had arrived safely in Medina, they came to our Prophet (PBUH) and said: “Will you intercede for us with your Lord because we did not go with you?” [556] The Exalted Allah had informed our Prophet (PBUH) that they would come and say this but would not be sincere in it, in the chapter of Fath which He revealed on the way. [557]
