The Prophet's Visit to Khadija with Fresh Dates
He also kept this in mind.620 The Almighty Allah awakened a deep love for our Prophet (peace be upon him) in the heart of Meysere. Now she was a servant of our Prophet (peace be upon him).621 While the trade caravan was in Merru’z-Zahran, Meysere said: “O Muhammed! Go to Hatice first! Inform her about what the Almighty Allah has done for her because of you, so that she may understand you!” Our Prophet (peace be upon him) immediately set off and entered Mecca at the hottest hour of the day. At that time, Hz. Hatice was sitting with some female friends, including Nefise binti Münye, on the upper floor of her house.
Our Prophet (peace be upon him), while riding his camel, entered Mecca shaded from the sun by two angels, and showed this to his female companions. They were all astonished. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) arrived at Hz. Hatice’s house. He informed her about the profit they made from selling the goods. This news made Hz. Hatice happy.622 Our Prophet (peace be upon him) handed over the goods he brought from Busra to Mecca to Hz. Hatice. She sold them and made a profit of two times or close to that amount.623 Meysere’s Information About our Prophet (peace be upon him) to Hz. Hatice. Meysere conveyed to Hz. Hatice what the priest Nastura had said about our Prophet (peace be upon him);624 what the Jew, who showed disrespect to our Prophet (peace be upon him) during the sale of goods, finally said;625
